until 2010-2011. I wish that the constant barrage of media ads wasn’t so frequent. I tired quickly of the mud slinging, it didn’t help me make a decision.
My candidate wasn’t elected. I didn’t vote for the Republican nor the Democrat presidential candidate. My vote still counted. It sent a message to the big two that I don’t want status quo. I voted a straight ticket of sorts. I refused to vote for any candidates for any office running as a on either of the big two party tickets. I am not pleased with how they have handled the responsibilities placed in their hands. It’s time for a change. Please remember that 2 years ago the Republicans lost some control to the Democrats because of not listening to the people. The Democrats aren’t listening to us either. It’s time for a change. I will watch the next four years with interest to see if the promised change happens. My guess is that it won’t. There will be superficial changes here and there, but the underlying problems will not be solved. For kicks and giggles, according to the US Treasury, our current nation debt is $10,556,177,748,045.21. In words, 10 trillion 556 billion 177 million 748 thousand 45 dollars and 21 cents. This site provides the basis for the NYC Debt Clock that is constantly counting, usually in the upward direction, and determining payoff to zero if each of us kicked in some money. Stay tuned, I’ll blog again about the national debt when we have another presidential election.
